Beauty@TOPSHOP?!

So today i was reading an article on http://www.graziadaily.co.uk (which i love to read for fashion tips and i LOVE 'stylehunter') and it said that TOPSHOP will be launching an electrical line in October after they launched the line for a weekend in the Oxford Street flagship store. According to Grazia, the mini straighteners(16cm, picture shown) sold out in hours. And due to the success TOPSHOP electrical goods had they will be coming to a store near you in October.

Are you excited? I'm not at all. Hello?!?! how long have mini straighteners been around for? I don't know why the straighteners have had such a buzz about them because they have a logo on them. The come in pink and black. But I've seen mini straightners in a whole array of colours and designs in Sally's, TKMaxx, Boots ect.

I for on will NOT be purchasing a pair. TOPSHOP is for clothes. Not, in my opinion electrical goods. That's what Argos is for.

typical daytime face routine

So i wanted to share what i typically wear for my makeup on a day to day basis... and here it is.

Face

foundation- i wear Maybellines Dream Matte mousse in 040 fawn and 048 sun beige.

I've chosen DMM because it feels light on my skin, its buildable and it blends well. I had a panic when i came back off holiday to find that my 'summer foundation' which is MAC Full Coverage was too light for me (NW 25), which was purchased earlier on in the year and was too dark.

On really bad skin days i do wear my MAC Full Coverage foundation, but i do put bronzer on top.

Powder- for powder i use my MAC MSF in Light medium/natural and shimmer. The shimmer part does get annoying when you just want the MSF natural on your face, but i find if i squeeze the bristles of my brush a bit it work fine.

Concealer- i dont wear concealer. I do have spots and stuff but i feel my foundation covers them fine. if i do use concealer i usee MAC Studio Finish.

Blush- i alternate my blushes between MAC Spaced Out, MAC Margin and NYC Smooth Minerals loose powder blush in Almost Apricot, which is stunning.

Bronzer- Funny story, i walked into a charity shop to have a look round and i saw in a basket a brand new boxed MAC Studio Fix powder in NW45 for 60p YES 60 PENCE!!!! So i had so buy. I make this roduct work for me by just using a smidge amount and putting it on my cheeks and forehead.

Eyes

Eye liner- i use ruby and millie khol eyeliner in black (the pest pencil eyeliner i have ever used, so soft to apply on your eyes, creamy and very very black which i love.), MAC Fluidline in Blacktrack and No 7 liquid eyeliner.

Eyeshadows- everyday i dont really wear shadow, maybe i silver wash of colour or if i do its usually stray dog, shag, scratch and underground by Urban Decay.

Mascara- the mascara im using atm is False Lash Effect by MaXfactor. I have pretty long lashes and thick lashes naturally so when i use this mascara i do feel like they become almost fake looking lashes which i love!!!

Also my gran brought back some Covergirl lash blast from her trip to the USA so im exited to use that once i finish my current mascara.

Lips

I usually just wear a lip treatment such as Burt's Bees. But my fave lippie is 'Buff' by AVON.

So yahh this is my daytime face lark. Maybe ill do a nightime. :)

Orgasming Laguna

So ive been eyeing this beauty up.

Ive been wanting 'Laguna'  bronzer and 'Orgasm' blush from Nars, and as i was browsing their site i came across their multiples which ha orgasm and laguna in it. ahh its like from heaven.

I havent purchased it yet as its £33ish and i havent got the funds. But look at its beauty

Long Time no...

So ive been wrapped up with my exam preparation. !!argh!!  But my final exam of the year it 9th June, which is good considereing most others finish around the 17th,

My friends and I have decided that Bicester Village is due a visit and im SUPER exited as theres a CCO and an All Saints Outlet which im thrilled about. Minor problem though...

I have NO dolla. I have NO money saved for my holiday in 8 weeks, NO money savedd for my best friends birthday prezzie. NOTHING... NADA,

so ive decided to take a course of action. Spend nothing from my monthly paid job until my holiday and to save 20-30 pounds from my weekly job. SORTED.

and somewhere in there i need to save for Rosies and Bicester..... i'll be fiiine.
